Services
Design:
As designers, we integrate your ideas and programs with an artful vision to create an environment that meets specifics, budget, and expectations while naturally enhancing the beauty of each site. Our talented landscape architects and landscape architecture graduates are recruited, trained, and retained to ensure that each project meets our high standards.
Construction:
We take technical proficiency, budget adherence, and pre-scheduling and scheduling as metrics for each project. Scheduling the right equipment, the right team for each job coupled with technical and disciplined managers is a cornerstone of our vast and successful construction portfolio. We work with the finest craftsmen in the area and hand-select only the finest materials in the region to create lush landscaping, pools and fountains, detailed structures, intricate iron gates/fences and details of the highest quality.
Maintenance:
Our team of maintenance experts provides ongoing care that keeps each landscape thriving throughout the year. A stewardship approach ensures each environment receives the technical services required for proliferating and healthy landscapes. We provide a comprehensive menu of maintenance service options, from Disease & Pest Control; Prevention Care; Turf & Tree and Plant Fertilization; to comprehensive lawn and garden care, including all-inclusive weekly services. ECL uses the right personnel and the right equipment for each project.
Horticulture:
We offer customized seasonal services such as: Seasonal Color Programs using the most adaptable Annuals & Perennials; Technical Pruning: Lawn Renovation; Landscape Clean-up/Renovations. This division provides capabilities and capacity for all small landscape projects that do not require engineering or construction services. Our horticulturalists are educated and trained to provide proactive services, which create the essential link from construction and maintenance.
Key Personnel
Edward Castro, BLA, ASLA, President and Principal of the firm. Ed received a 5-year Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia; Collegiate Studies at RMIT, Australia; apprenticeships with successful Landscape Architecture firms in Atlanta, Greenwich, and London England. Decades of inspired travels In the US and Europe, coupled with 20 years of work experience has yielded a successful methodology for creating sustainable, inspired communities and landscapes in partnership with Public and Private clients. Ed Castro continues to serve companies, communities, and individuals in search of leading ideas and a wonderful partnership.
Shawn Case, BLA, ASLA, GASLA, BOMA, MALTA, is the director of business development. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. Shawn has obtained over 9 years of professional design/build experience in all aspects of the landscape industry. He is also an active member of BOMA and active in several other professional organizations such as ASLA, GASLA, and MALTA. Shawn has also completed the OSHA Certification Safety Program, GSWCC Certified Personnel, and Excavation Competent Person
Amy Grant, is the Accounting Administrator and a graduate of Gwinnett College; Summa Cum Laude Honors. She has received Diplomas with Summa Cum Laude Honors in Accounting, Computer Operations, and Computer Information Systems/Business Administration. She has previous experience with City and County contracts doing municipal work from previous employers such as Graebel Van Lines, Beltman North American Van Lines and Neff Construction Rental. Ms. Grant's current accountabilities include directing the firms Contract Administration for all Federal, State and Municipal contracts.
