EXPERIENCE
Andy Thurmond is responsible for the total management of numerous projects simultaneously, which entails project objectives, standards, schedules, budgets and design- together with monitoring and control of the entire construction process. This includes self-performed as well as sub-contracted work. For each project Andy oversees budgets, schedules, the project's accuracy and production, quality control, and assists landscape consultants with customer relations. Andy also works with the landscape design team to prepare specifications, cost estimates, contract documents and to obtain all field data for accurate record keeping.
CERTIFICATIONS / AFFILIATIONS
Received ALCA's Certified Landscape Professional distinction in August, 2003. Currently less than 1% of landscape professionals in Georgia have achieved this status.
Received the Georgia Nurseryman's Award in October 1983, receiving the highest marks from a field of 119 participants.
Managed installation of Glenwood Park; Recipient of Planet Grand Award and MALTA Environmental Improvement Grand Award.
